November 11th 1918, Canadian corps recaptured the Belgian town of Mons, after five months of German occupation. This was also the very last battle of the great war.

November 11th 2018, 100 years after, the town of Mons hosted a festival to mark this, with their great gratitude to Canada.

Canadian news channel CTV News captures this event live from Mons over satellite, supported by Satcube and the Satcube Ku-band terminal.

David Iacolucci from CTV News, says “I heard that in Toronto, they were very pleased with the quality of the video and I love the size of the Satcube terminal, small and easy to operate”.
